I first saw Klute as a young dog at the 2001 FCRSA National Specialty in Greeley, CO; he was being shown by Anna out of the bred-by class and went on to take Reserve Winners Dog later in the day. I had the pleasure of seeing him again in his home country at the 2002 FCRSC National Specialty in Calgary. Even from a distance he was captivating both times.

In addition to being stylish, Klute struck a solid balance between three very important traits: a pedigree that shows health and longevity, an enjoyable family companion, and a proven working dog. I was very excited to bring Klute's qualities into my line.

From breeder/owner Anna Daly:

"I have a hard time faulting Klute, I feel I have been blessed with an exceptional male.

Klute is a joy to work in any endeavor. He is one happy dog and could really excel in obedience if that was my area. As it is he goes into the ring and easily scores with very little training. He has been my easiest dog in the house--never destroyed anything as a puppy or an adult even when bitches are in season. If he doesn't get out for exercise (and my dogs are used to lots as I am a runner,) he does not stress or get high. In terms of hunt work he is extremely birdy. He has 3 legs on his SH and we plan on his title this spring. He is an aggressive hunter.

In terms of conformation he has a smooth gait and is a joy to watch. Even just walking on the street he is stylish. I love his head and almond eye. He has good length of neck. He moves beautifully in the conformation ring, especially in silhouette."
